Remember that it was those dots at the edges that led to an interesting decoding of the puzzle containing many mixed messages.
Remember that commoners form the backbone of societies and polities (and yes, military forces), that goons and lackeys are the ones who carry out and implement things proposed by advisers and commanders, that for every on-panel moment of grandstanding there are off-panel periods of preparation and training, that the people are the ones who shape the histories of lords and their lieutenants, and so on.
Nonetheless, what Ravages leaves out are still hinted at in some way, at least for the most part. The trick is to pay close attention and acknowledge a broader horizon than what is explicitly laid out.
